Today I went to The City Harvest Church, the church that was the talking points of most Christian sometimes ago due to the it rapid growth. Today, they have like 30k+ members and to achieve that in such a short time is amazing. Charismatic Church is different from those churches which I grown up with. For me, there is no right or wrong way in spreading the words of the Lord. Just that their way are more vibrant and modern.
Using all the available technology and presentation, CHC has successfully captured the heart of the young. I felt like worshiping God inside a Disco. Disco in the first place isn't an Evil Place, Disco is seen as an evil place because of Alcohol & drugs were consumed in it. It was so amazing, that something as "EVIL" as disco can be transformed into Worshiping God. God is amazing! That's why I always believe we should learn the stuffs in the world but use it in a good way.
But today sermon wasn't by Pastor KongHee and I hope to hear from him next week but the British Pastor sermon was good.
